- Tidy up the yard and relocate vehicles.
- Hide custom decor and surface mess.
- Open curtains and switch on all lamps.
- Put pets in a quiet, out-of-sight spot.
- Clear bathroom counters and remove personal items.
- Refresh or clean bathroom tile grout if needed.
Inside the Home
Interior Checklist
High-resolution photos reveal every detail. Focus on creating a clean, neutral environment that allows buyers to focus on the space rather than your belongings.
Clear kitchen counters: Hide toasters, dish soap, and mail.
Depersonalize: Remove family photos and political materials.
Check lighting: Ensure all bulbs work and match in color.
Hide pet items: Put away bowls, beds, and all pet toys.
Wipe surfaces: Clean mirrors and glass to remove streaks, touch up paint where needed, and complete any small visible repairs.
Lighting: Open all blinds and window treatments fully.
Outside the Home
Curb Appeal Checklist
- • Move cars out of the driveway and away from the house.
• Coil or stow garden hoses and hide trash bins.
• Sweep walkways and clear cobwebs from the front porch.
• Clean the front door and polish the handle hardware.
Lawn and Garden
- • Mow the lawn and trim edges today or tomorrow morning.
